A wonderfully subtle and drinkable Colombia from my favorite region, Huila. Primavera hooked us up with this one and what they are doing with the Small Female Producers and Primavera Sisterhood of Huila, Colombia is pretty awesome. In 2017/2018 Coocentral implemented a project in which women were given access to better infrastructure and training and to date, three phases of the program have been executed. Each phase covered the same subjects but encompassed different groups of women. Firstly, lectures on issues such as productivity, quality, leadership and women empowerment were delivered, strengthening women’s knowledge regarding farm management. Then, to improve drying infrastructure, the program gave away African raised beds to all the women that took part in the training.

Their coffee production increased, and additionally, Coocentral guarantees direct trade
for their coffee with a differentiated price. Due to this differentiated price, the women that belong to the program have received up to 20% above market price and we are happy to pay that and support them, and I hope you are happy to drink this and support us. SUPPORT!
