We are thrilled to be offering Edilma Chavez's el Chalun once again AGAIN! I think this is now the 7th time I have bought this coffee. That rules.

Edilma Chavez is a second generation coffee farmer. She and her husband managed the farm together until he left to become a migrant laborer to help the family get ahead. Now, they hire workers to pick and process the coffee. While they pick and process, Edilma leads the team with careful attention to detail so that they can produce coffee of outstanding quality.

Edilma inherited El Chalun 20 years ago from her parents. It is named for the nearby location called Chalun, which is also the name of a shade tree that many coffee farmers use in this region.
